2014+ Ram 2500/3500 Rear Multi Rate Rate Coils
The Carli rear multi-rate springs each coil is spaced differently making them a variable spring rate. Initially it is easy to compress these springs for the first couple of inches. As you apply more force, the coils come closer to each other. The more force you apply to our multi-rate spring the more the rate increases. So, these springs are compliant to very small bumps on the road, while achieving control when needed off road, hard braking, and turning. These springs allow you to achieve the highest performance while driving hard and providing a smooth, comfortable drive the rest of the time while still providing reasonable payload capabilities.
The R1coils offer 1" of lift and a dramatically smoother ride with a progressive rate, trading about a 15% decrease in payload capacity compated to an OEM 2500 coil.
The R2 coils offer 2" of lift and is the highest capacity performance Ram 2500 coil on the market with over 2,000 pounds of capacity. These coils are perfect for trucks that have 600-800 pounds of constant load. These coils may feel very firm on empty trucks.
